Joanne and Stephen have owned and run The Cake People since 2014, baking every cake themselves in Keilor Park. The proof that a kids' cake here tastes as good as it looks is on the record: they enter the open Gateau category at the Baking Association of Australia's Victorian Baking Show, scored against conventional egg-and-butter bakeries with no separate allowance for plant-based work, and have received an award for three years running.

There are 3D character cakes with printed cutout elements and edible-image cakes (our most popular) that print a photo straight onto the top, and the personal touches kids love: their name and age piped on front.
